Job summary

HCLTech is seeking an experienced Risk & BCM leader to own governance, maintenance, and sustenance of the Business Continuity Management System across the organization in India. The role requires SME in BCM, crisis management, resilience, risk & compliance, and multi-domain program delivery.

The candidate will lead 5–10-person teams, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive IT disaster recovery and cyber resilience initiatives across IT applications, infrastructure, and services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of work experience in risk management related programs across multiple domains.
• Experience leading BCM/CM teams (5–10 members) in a corporate setting.
• Background in IT disaster recovery and cyber resilience initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own governance, maintenance, and sustenance of the BCM system across the organization.
• Lead Crisis Management and resilience programs at functional/site levels.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design projects aligning with business needs.
• Prepare reports and analyses for delivery to leadership and sponsors.
• Directly supervise 5–10 team members and coordinate across locations.

Role & responsibilities

• Own the governance, maintenance, and sustenance of Business Continuity Management System across the organization
• Subject Matter Expertise in BCM, Crisis Management, Resilience, Risk & Compliance domains
• Have multi-faceted experience in Risk Management related program implementation in multiple domains (Infrastructure services, BFSI, Healthcare will be preference)
• Should have sound knowledge of IT Disaster Recovery Program and Cyber related Business Continuity Planning
• Good understanding and exposure to business operations in IT Application Support and Maintenance, Infrastructure, Business Services, and Products & Platforms
• Be a self-starter with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple teams from Delivery and Enabling Functions across locations, geographies, and engagements
• Hands-on experience leading Crisis Management and response at a functional / location / site level
• Ability to work with multiple senior stakeholders to design programs that meet the requirements of the organization & strengthens the resilience posture and are aligned to business needs.
• Ability to logically convince stakeholders to take necessary actions. Work closely with Senior leaders and drive activities to successful completion
• Have experience leading and directly supervising 5-10 people
• Experience in preparing reports, conduct analysis and present to various stakeholders
• Excellent Negotiation and Conflict Management skills
• Good Customer Service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and extended hours during Crisis events

Preferred candidate profile

• At least 10 years of work experience in Risk Management related program implementation in multiple domains (Infrastructure services, BFSI, Healthcare, etc.)
• Must have led a team of 5-10 members as BCM/CM Lead in an organization of repute.
• Must have been engaged in Functional/Enterprise level projects/programs in a corporate with multi-entity with multiple Geography-based operations.
• Should have background in managing and implementing IT disaster recovery program(s) in IT/ITES industry of repute.

Additional Qualification

• Masters Degree would be added advantage.
• Industry approved certification - Certified Lead Auditor/Implementer in ISO 27001, ISO 22301 would provide a high advantage
• Industry approved Certification in Crisis, Business Continuity or Risk Management would be an added advantage
