Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity professional to design, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans for data centers and other critical locations, ensuring swift recovery and governance during incidents.

In this role you will analyze risks to operations, develop contingency and emergency management plans, create reports, train staff, and coordinate with compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements; based in Ahmedabad District, Gujarat.

• Analyze impact on, and risk to, essential business functions or information systems to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements.
• Assess risks to business operations.
• Develop emergency management plans for recovery decision making and communications, continuity of critical departmental processes, or temporary shut-down of non-critical departments to ensure continuity of operation and governance.
• Develop contingency plans to deal with organizational emergencies.
• Review existing disaster recovery, crisis management, or business continuity plans.
• Develop contingency plans to deal with organizational emergencies.
• Establish, maintain, or test call trees to ensure appropriate communication during disaster.
• Interpret government regulations and applicable codes to ensure compliance.
• Evaluate applicable laws and regulations to determine impact on organizational activities.
