Business Analyst Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum relevant experience 7 years.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

• Technical Skills: Strong SQL Skills; Ability to use AI tools; Review Java & Python code; Experience in Java & RDBMS; Data visualization tools ( Power BI , Tableau ); Spreadsheet modeling ( Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets ); Requirements and project management tools ( Jira , Azure DevOps , Confluence )
• Core Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication to translate technical concepts for non-technical teams; Critical thinking and problem-solving; Stakeholder management and negotiation

Requirements Elicitation: Gather, document, and analyze business and functional requirements using interviews, workshops, and data analysis.

Process Modeling: Create workflow diagrams, process flows, data models, and system requirements (such as BRDs and FRS).

Data & Reporting Analysis: Query databases and build dashboards using tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to extract actionable insights.

Solution Validation & Testing: Support or lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), verify that delivered software meets specifications, and track bugs.

Project & Agile Support: Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Backlog Refinement) via tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
