Job summary

PeopleTech Group in Vijayawada is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst who can bridge business stakeholders and IT teams, translating requirements into clear functional specs.

You will document BRDs/FRDs, support agile ceremonies, and help drive digital transformation across AI, data, cloud initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably within IT services, consulting, digital transformation, or software development environments.
• Strong requirement-gathering, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, clients, product owners, and technical teams to understand business objectives and requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops, and gap analysis sessions.
• Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Translate business requirements into actionable specifications for development and implementation teams.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, project managers, and product teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define acceptance criteria and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Track requirement changes, maintain documentation, and ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate business insights and project progress.
• Support Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and project reviews, wherever applicable.
