Job Summary:

We are looking for a Financial Solutions Senior Analyst to join our Ledger Operations Change Management team in Mumbai. The role will support business transformation and change initiatives within financial systems, with a focus on SDLC/STLC, Business Analysis, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), stakeholder management, defect management and production go-live activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Banking/Financial Services, financial systems, business analysis and UAT/testing coordination. Exposure to Accounting, Ledger, Finance or Mortgage processes will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate SDLC/STLC activities for financial system changes and projects.
• Understand business requirements and ensure alignment between BRD, FRD, functional requirements and test scenarios.
• Prepare and maintain Test Plans, Test Cases, Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM), Defect Logs and Test Closure Reports.
• Coordinate with Business, Technology, QA and other stakeholders to ensure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines.
• Lead and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure all business scenarios and requirements are adequately covered.
• Present test scenarios and test cases to business stakeholders and obtain timely review and sign-off.
• Identify, document and track defects through resolution, retesting and closure.
• Coordinate defect triage meetings with Technology and Business teams and drive timely resolution of critical issues.
• Monitor testing progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively elevate issues to senior stakeholders.
• Provide regular project and testing status updates to business and management.
• Support business readiness, change management and implementation activities.
• Participate in production deployment/go-live activities and provide support for implementation-related issues.
• Ensure project documentation, testing evidence and approvals are maintained in accordance with governance requirements.
• Work effectively across multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, SDLC/STLC, UAT, Functional Testing or Financial Systems.
• Strong hands-on experience in UAT and testing coordination.
• Experience preparing Test Plans, Test Cases, RTM, Defect Reports and Test Closure documentation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
• Experience in BRD/FRD analysis and requirement traceability.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Experience working with Banking / BFSI / Financial Services applications or systems.
• Understanding of financial products, banking processes or financial operations.
• Experience in defect management, defect triage, retesting and closure.
• Experience supporting production releases and go-live activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight timelines.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Accounting, General Ledger, F Financial Solutions Senior Analyst Business Analyst / UAT g or Finance Operations.
• Exposure to Mortgage / Lending / Financial Products.
• Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience creating presentations and management reports using PowerPoint.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and Waterfall environments.
• Project Management certification such as PMP, CAPM or PRINCE2.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Master's degree / MBA preferred.
