Job summary

Infosys seeks a Business Analyst with 3+ years of IT experience to work with business and technology teams in the financial services domain. You will contribute to capital markets, regulatory reporting, and AML initiatives, crafting clear requirements and guiding solution delivery from design through deployment.

The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and willingness to travel for client engagements across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, or three years progressive experience in lieu.
• At least 3 years of IT experience.
• Located within commuting distance of Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, or willing to relocate.
• Experience in Capital Markets / Regulatory reporting / Equities / Derivatives / AML.
• Experience in Trade surveillance, Data Analysis, SQL/BRD/FSD.
• At least 3 years as Business Analyst with close collaboration to business and tech teams.
• Experience in Financial Services sector (Risk/Compliance/AML/Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Trade Surveillance/Operational Risk/Credit Risk).
• At least 4 years creating requirement specifications from Architecture/Design/Process detailing.
• At least 4 years capturing requirements related to consulting, documenting, mapping current business processes.
• At least 4 years in Development/Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation and deployment.
• At least 3 years in Business Analysis Skills – Requirements analysis, Elicitation, Agile Methodologies.
• Analytical and communication skills.
• Good presentation and articulation skills – presenting to senior leadership and liaising between business and technology teams.
• Planning and coordination skills; experience with project management.
• Willingness to travel for management consulting work.
• Experience in SQL, PL/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business partners and technology teams daily to define capability and support the build process.
• Participate in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation to guide solution design.
• Engage in project management activities and coordinate across stakeholder groups.
• Travel as required for client engagements and consulting assignments.

Job description

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 3 years of experience with Information Technology.
