Job summary

Cloudesign Technology Solutions LLP. seeks an experienced Business Analyst to bridge stakeholders and delivery teams, driving requirements from discovery through testing.

You will specialize in Indian Capital Markets and Wealth Management, document BRDs/FRDs, and support agile and waterfall projects. The role requires strong domain knowledge, BRD/FRD expertise, and experience with JIRA/Redmine, Postman, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Strong domain knowledge of Indian Capital Markets and investment products.
• Hands-on experience in BRD, FRD, user story, functional specification, and process documentation.
• Experience working with JIRA, Redmine, or similar project management tools.
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience in UAT planning, test scenario preparation, defect tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL and database queries.
• Familiarity with Postman for API testing and validation.
• Experience with Draw.io, MS Visio, and MS Excel for process mapping, documentation, and analysis.
• Good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and domain analysis for Capital Markets and Wealth Management domains.
• Elicit, document, and translate requirements into BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and specs.
• Coordinate project work with Agile and Waterfall teams and manage backlogs.
• Plan and coordinate testing, including UAT, test scenarios, and defect tracking.
• Bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams; manage stakeholder communications.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance considerations are reflected in functional requirements.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to drive business and technology initiatives by bridging the gap between stakeholders and delivery teams. The role involves requirement elicitation, solution design support, stakeholder management, and ensuring successful execution of strategic projects across systems and processes.

• Business & Domain Analysis
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Indian Capital Markets and Wealth Management, including mutual funds, IPOs, equities, fixed income, portfolio management, and corporate actions.
  • Understand treasury products such as bonds, foreign exchange (FX), derivatives, and OTC products.
  • Have knowledge of trade lifecycle management, investment operations, and related business processes.
  • Identify business challenges, analyse existing processes, and recommend suitable solutions.
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Perform gap analysis, process mapping, and workflow documentation.
  • Define acceptance criteria, data flows, and functional dependencies.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and actionable specifications for development teams.
• Project & Agile Management
  • Manage requirements and workflows using JIRA, Redmine, or similar project management tools.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure timely delivery of requirements.
  • Work across Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Testing & UAT Coordination
  • Prepare and validate functional test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Coordinate with business users to execute test cases and validate system functionality.
  • Track, analyse, and coordinate resolution of defects using JIRA or similar tools.
  • Ensure business requirements are met before solution sign-off.
  • Support production issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with front-office, middle-office, back-office, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Conduct requirement walkthroughs, functional discussions, and project status updates.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Regulatory & Compliance Understanding
  • Possess working knowledge of relevant SEBI, RBI, and Indian stock exchange regulations and guidelines.
  • Understand the impact of regulatory requirements on capital market and wealth management processes.
  • Ensure functional requirements consider applicable regulatory and compliance standards.
