Job summary

Specular Business Services is offering an internship to explore how the company operates across HR, hiring, sales, finance, and daily operations. You will observe departments, document needs, and suggest concrete improvements.

You will produce flowcharts and user stories to guide development and participate in product testing to ensure alignment with business goals. You will learn the CORE internal system powering the business, and gain experience across business and tech teams with a clear path

About the role

• Map out how the company operates across human resources, hiring, commercial sales, financial management and day-to-day running of the business
• Collect information about what teams need and document those findings clearly
• Spot where workflows break down or can run better, then recommend concrete changes
• Produce flowcharts and user stories that guide development work
• Run tests alongside the product team to make sure software works as intended
• Help catch bugs and coordinate fixes between business and technical staff
• Learn the internal system called CORE and understand how it powers the business

What you'll work on

• Sitting with different departments to understand their current processes and pain points
• Translating business needs into technical requirements that developers can build from
• Creating visual diagrams that show how work moves through the company
• Testing new features to ensure they meet what the business actually needs
• Documenting everything so knowledge stays with the team even after you leave
