Job summary

Carrerlift is seeking a data analyst to analyze business, customer, and portfolio datasets, uncover insights, and support decision-making. You will build automated reports, investigate anomalies, and create visual data stories for non-technical audiences.

The role involves using SQL to extract data, Excel for manipulation, and Power BI for dashboards, collaborating with Product, Risk, and Business teams to deliver timely data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

About the role:

• Analyze business, customer, and portfolio datasets to uncover patterns and insights.
• Conduct funnel analysis and perform root cause analysis on operational bottlenecks.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from databases.
• Design and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI and Excel for stakeholder visibility.
• Partner with Product, Risk, and Business teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations.

What you'll work on:

• Building automated reports that track key business metrics and performance indicators.
• Investigating anomalies in customer behavior and transaction flows using analytical techniques.
• Creating visualizations that communicate complex data stories to non-technical audiences.
• Supporting decision-making across the organization through timely data delivery.

What we're looking for:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including Joins, CTEs, Subqueries, and Window Functions.
• Solid understanding of business analytics methodology and root cause analysis frameworks.
• Demonstrated competence in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation.
• Familiarity with Power BI (preferred but not required).
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate findings clearly to different teams.
