Job summary

Jobitus is seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to monitor and optimize the digital lending funnel. You will work with cross-functional teams to turn data into actionable insights, build dashboards, and track KPIs such as application volumes, approval rates, and disbursements.

You will perform root-cause analysis, propose process improvements, and support management with ad-hoc analyses. A background in analytics, finance, or related fields with strong Excel/SQL skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the complete digital lending funnel to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Analyze business data to provide actionable insights to management.
• Prepare and maintain MIS, dashboards, and performance reports.
• Track KPIs related to application volumes, approval rates, disbursement, loan size, repayment, collections, and portfolio performance.
• Perform customer and loan-level data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the complete digital lending funnel, including registration, application, underwriting, approval, and disbursement, to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Analyze business and operational data to provide actionable insights to management.
• Prepare and maintain regular MIS, dashboards, and business performance reports.
• Track key business KPIs related to application volumes, approval rates, disbursement, loan size, repayment, collections, delinquency, bounce, and portfolio performance.
• Perform customer and loan-level data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Analyze portfolio and operational performance across different products, customer segments, channels, and business parameters.
• Work closely with Business, Operations, Risk, Underwriting, Collections, Product, and Technology teams to understand business requirements and identify process gaps.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for business and operational issues and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Evaluate the impact of changes in credit policies, processes, products, or business rules on overall business performance.
• Support management with ad-hoc analysis, business reviews, performance tracking, and decision-making reports.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for implementation and tracking of business/process changes.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across reports, dashboards, and different business sources.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate/MBA preferred; candidates from Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related backgrounds will be preferred..
• 2–5 years of relevant experience inBusiness Analysis, Data Analysis, MIS, or Business Operations, preferably withinFintech, NBFC, Digital Lending, or Personal Loans..
• Strong proficiency inAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets..
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable business insights..
• Good understanding of business KPIs, funnel analysis, portfolio metrics, and performance reporting..
• Working knowledge ofSQLis preferred..
• Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools will be an added advantage..
• Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills..
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, data-driven fintech environment..

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with hands-on experience in Digital Lending, STPL, Personal Loans, Consumer Lending, Fintech, or NBFCs will be preferred.
• Candidates should have strong exposure to business performance analysis, lending funnel analysis, MIS/reporting, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement.
