Role Overview

Hands-on Analytics Business Analyst with multi-domain experience in a professional services environment. Translates complex client business problems into practical analytical models, dashboards, metrics, and actionable insights that drive data-driven decision making and measurable business outcomes across consulting and digital transformation engagements.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with C-level and functional stakeholders to understand business objectives and define relevant KPIs and success metrics.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions, data models, interactive dashboards, and insightful reports.
• Perform hands-on data analysis, trend identification, root-cause analysis, and predictive insights using large multi-domain datasets.
• Design and develop high-impact dashboards and visualizations in Power BI, Metabase, Superset or Tableau for client presentations and ongoing monitoring.
• Support end-to-end analytics solution delivery from requirements to UAT, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities through data insights and recommend technology-enabled solutions.
• Manage analytics requirements traceability, change requests, and deliver clear documentation for client handover.

Must-have Hands-on Experience

• 2-5 years of practical hands-on experience as Analytics Business Analyst in a Professional Services / Consulting firm.
• Proven multi-domain exposure delivered analytics projects across at least 3 domains (Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, or Customer Experience).
• Strong experience conducting requirement workshops and JAD sessions with senior client stakeholders.
• Delivered multiple end-to-end analytics solutions that were actively used by clients for decision making.
• Hands-on expertise in building complex dashboards, data models, and actionable insights in real client engagements.

Technical Skills

• Expert-level hands-on experience with Data Structures, Modelling, Visualisation
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets across multiple sources.
• Working knowledge of data visualization best practices, ETL concepts, and data warehousing principles.
• Proficient in requirement & documentation tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Vision, and Lucidchart.
• Good exposure to Python/R for basic data analysis or statistical modeling (added advantage).
• Familiarity with ERP (D365, SAP), CRM systems, and cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills ability to present complex insights clearly to C-suite and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills in client-facing consulting environments.
