Job summary

Idfc First Bank Limited is seeking a Business Analyst within the Data & Analytics team. You will bridge business objectives with data-driven insights, collaborating with business units, data scientists, and data engineers to define strategic goals and deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics and reporting.

You will define KPIs, build dashboards, and communicate data-driven insights to stakeholders, ensuring data quality and security in a big data environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation within a big data context.
• Exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics.
• Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, monitor, and improve KPIs aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Use tools such as SQL, PySpark, and Python to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Develop custom scripts and code for data analysis and reporting in a big data environment.
• Create visually engaging dashboards and reports using Tableau or similar tools to deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and align on the North Star metric.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure effective communication of data-driven insights.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the big data ecosystem.
• Apply machine learning and predictive analytics techniques to support business decisions.
• Leverage domain knowledge from the banking or financial services industry.
• Demonstrate proficiency in data storytelling and presentation to communicate insights effectively.

What We Are Looking For

Education

• Graduation in BSC or BCA or B.Tech.
