Job summary

Technogeeks in Pune is seeking a Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering, documentation, and process optimization across projects. You will run workshops, translate needs into BRDs and FSDs, and map current and target workflows to improve productivity.

The role involves collaborating with product managers, managing the backlog, defining acceptance criteria, overseeing UAT, performing data analysis, and driving change management and end-user training to ensure successful adoption.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering & Elicitation: Conduct workshops, user interviews, and brainstorming sessions with key stakeholders to understand business challenges and capture functional/non-functional requirements.
• Documentation & Specification: Translate business needs into clear, structured documentation, including BRD, FSD, User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flowcharts, and Wireframes.
• Process Mapping & Optimization: Map As-Is business processes, identify operational bottlenecks, and design streamlined To-Be workflows to enhance productivity and standard operating procedures.
• Agile Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Managers/Owners to maintain, prioritize, and refine product backlogs; write detailed acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between client/business leaders and technical teams (Software Developers, QA, UI/UX designers) to bridge communication gaps and align project expectations.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Define UAT test scenarios and test cases, coordinate testing execution with end-users, log defects, and secure formal business sign-off before solution release.
• Data & Business Analysis: Analyze datasets to uncover trends, operational metrics, and performance insights using Excel, SQL, or BI visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Change Management & Training: Assist in project rollouts by delivering user manuals, change management materials, and end-user training to drive post-implementation adoption.
