Job summary

Newgen Software in Pune seeks an experienced Business Analyst focused on Secured Lending to drive digital transformation and process improvement across credit, operations, and technology.

You will gather requirements, map processes, write BRD/FRD and user stories, support UAT, and collaborate with LOS/LMS teams to implement lending solutions. Candidates should have 4–5 years in secured lending, strong analytical skills, and experience with banking products.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and converting them into BRD/FRD and user stories.
• Proven ability to map processes and identify gaps for secured lending workflows.
• Experience with LOS/LMS and digital lending platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories).
• Conduct process analysis, gap assessment, and recommend solutions.
• Work on end-to-end secured loan processes: Lead Management, Origination, Credit, Valuation, Sanction, Disbursement, Servicing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, and IT.
• Support LOS, LMS, and Digital Lending platform initiatives; prepare test cases and coordinate UAT.

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in Secured Lending to support digital transformation and process improvement initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements, optimize processes, and implement lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases).
• Conduct process analysis, gap assessment, and recommend suitable solutions.
• Work on end-to-end secured loan processes, including:
• Lead Management
• Loan Origination
• Credit Assessment
• Property Valuation & Legal Verification
• Sanction & Disbursement
• Loan Servicing & Collections
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Business, Credit, Risk, Operations, Legal, and IT teams.
• Support LOS (Loan Origination System), LMS (Loan Management System), and Digital Lending platform initiatives.
• Prepare test cases, support UAT, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Create process flows, reports, dashboards, and project documentation.

Domain Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Home Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), Mortgage Loans, Vehicle Loans, and Gold Loans.
• Understanding of Credit Underwriting, Collateral Management, and Loan Servicing processes.
