The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of market trends, financial analysis, and the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, due diligence, and financial modeling to assess the viability and potential returns of prospective investments.

Responsibilities:

1. Opportunity Sourcing and Evaluation:
   Proactively identify and research potential investment opportunities across various industries, aligned with the fund's investment thesis.
   Conduct preliminary screenings and assessments of target companies, evaluating their business models, market potential, and competitive landscape.
2. Market Research and Analysis:
   Conduct comprehensive market research to understand industry trends, market size, growth drivers, and competitive dynamics.
   Analyze macroeconomic and geopolitical factors that may impact investment opportunities.
   Monitor technological advancements and their potential disruptive impact on target sectors.
   Perform in-depth due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, operational reviews, and customer/market validation.
   Evaluate the management team's capabilities and track record.
   Assess the company's intellectual property and competitive advantages.
3. Financial Modeling and Analysis:
   Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and assess potential investment returns.
   Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to evaluate investment risks and opportunities.
   Evaluate the financial health and historical performance of target companies.
   Calculate potential ROI, and provide valuations.
4. Reporting and Presentation:
   Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations.
   Present investment proposals to the investment team and partners.
   Clearly articulate investment theses and risk assessments.
5. Industry and Sector Analysis:
   Monitor and analyze specific industry sectors to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities.
   Understand the competitive landscape and identify key players within target industries.
   Track the growth and development of companies within the fund investment portfolio.
6. Geopolitical Analysis:
   Research and understand the impact of geopolitical events on target markets and industries.
   Assess the regulatory environment and potential policy changes that may affect investments.

Qualifications:

• MBA (Tier-1) or CA is a must.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, market research, or investment analysis, preferably within a VC, private equity, or investment banking environment.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong understanding of market trends, industry dynamics, and technological advancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
