Job summary

Intellectual Capital HR Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is recruiting an Associate / Analyst for a venture capital fund focused on company research and portfolio management in India (Gurugram area).

You will conduct industry and primary research across the portfolio, assess startups raising capital, map the market, perform due diligence with founders, and prepare detailed notes and reports to support deal closure. Strong communication, PowerPoint and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of venture capital experience.
• Hands-on multi-tasker with strong industry and on-ground primary research.
• Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Industry and primary company research across the portfolio and coverage universe.
• Business and financial research and diligence on startups raising capital, including in-depth analysis of industry and competition, and preparation of detailed research notes.
• In-depth industry research using global and domestic data, mapping the entire chain of participants.
• Primary research including channel checks, plant visits and company visits.
• Due diligence, engaging directly with founders and liaising with legal counsel through deal closure.
• Research on deals, trends and transactions in the early-stage startup ecosystem. Build a network of industry participants and write update notes and reports.
• Build strong connect with portfolio company managements.
