Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Data Analyst/Business Analyst in Hyderabad to conduct data analyses, gather requirements, and translate insights into actionable dashboards. You will collaborate with Cybersecurity and Analytics teams to deliver user-centered analytics, build API feeds, and maintain data quality across critical dashboards.

The role requires strong English communication, experience with Power BI and other BI tools, and the ability to manage stakeholder expectations while delivering on tight

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or related sectors is preferred.
• Strong ability to gather and translate business requirements into analytics solutions.
• Hands-on experience building data models and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct varied data analysis activities and collaborate with stakeholders to identify data patterns and user needs.
• Support requirements management and design changes across metrics including KPIs.
• Assist in designing, delivering and documenting user testing results and recommendations.
• Collaborate with developers to build API data feeds and automate data ingestion.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency of reporting dashboards and propose improvements.
• Share insights and data storytelling for senior executives within HSBC.
• Develop working knowledge of HSBC BI tools and solutions.

Job description

Conduct varied data analysis activities and collaborate with various stakeholders to identify collect organize and interpret data from a variety of sources to identify patterns and behaviours and pinpoint user needs and capability gaps

Support requirements management design change management and implementation management activities of all metrics including Key Control Indicators

Support in the design delivery of user testing including documenting the results conclusions and recommendations

Collaborate with a developer to build API data feeds to enable automation of data ingestion

Manage the accuracy and consistency of existing reporting dashboards and aid in the identification of improvements

Closely collaborate with Cybersecurity Sciences and Analytics team in order to exchange knowledge and develop new dashboards oriented around people data

Provide insights and data storytelling for the wider Cybersecurity team including senior Executives

Develop an understanding and working knowledge of the tools and solutions currently present within HSBC for BI and data analytics

Engage with peers and team members within the Cybersecurity functions to exchange knowledge keep abreast with developments and work on continuously improving the Cybersecurity Training and Awareness activities

Knowledge

Experience

• Exposure to change implementation activity
• Experience in analyzing complex data sets and translating them into clear actionable insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and some experience in facetoface presentation
