Job summary

Persistent Systems Limited in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with 8–12 years of domain expertise in Capital Markets to bridge business stakeholders and technology teams, gathering requirements, documenting specifications, and driving successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid setup, collaborate on trading, settlement, risk and compliance processes, and contribute to iterative development using Agile/Scrum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in finance, business administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the BFSI domain with Capital Markets focus.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments (equities, derivatives, fixed income), trading lifecycle and market infrastructure.
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and Excel.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to capital markets operations (e.g., trading, settlement, risk, compliance).
• Conduct gap analysis and feasibility studies to support strategic initiatives.
• Created detailed Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, and Use Cases.
• Work with technology teams to ensure solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive consensus and clarity.
• Conduct grooming sessions with Technology teams to write User stories and provide clarification on requirements.
• Provide Sprint demos to the business stakeholders and get approval in pre-prod.
