Job summary

Mahathi Infotech in Coimbatore is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our BI and analytics team. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end BI lifecycle activities, coordinate requirements, and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.

With 5+ years in BI/analytics and an MBA, you will drive project delivery, oversee UAT, and collaborate across functions. Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python or R) is essential, and you should be eager to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• MBA or related field required; 5+ years BA/BI experience.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end BI lifecycle development processes, including BRD/FRD definitions and UAT.
• Project manage Data, BI & Analytics tasks within the project, provide status reports and oversee UAT.
• Serve as liaison between client and project team, guiding during the project lifecycle.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and address issues throughout the project.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders and team members to align on objectives.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and business processes.
• Proficient in databases and scripting languages to support data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Support end-to-end Business Intelligence lifecycle development processes, including capturing business requirement definitions (BRD), creating functional requirement definitions (FRD), and conducting user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Project manage Data, BI & Analytics related tasks within the project, providing status reports, participating in requirement gathering sessions, and overseeing UAT activities
• Serve as a liaison between the client and project team, providing support and guidance during the project lifecycle, particularly during UAT cycles
• Utilize strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and address issues and challenges throughout the project
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, methodologies, and business processes
• Proficient in databases and scripting languages to support data analysis and reporting tasks.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

• Master of Business Administration or related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles, with a focus on Business Intelligence and Analytics
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee and coordinate tasks within a project team
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Eagerness to take on challenges and grow both personally and professionally
• Proficiency in databases and scripting languages, such as SQL, Python, or R, to support data analysis and reporting tasks.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s (or) Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
