Job summary

KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP in India is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams. You will document needs, map processes, and craft BRDs/FRS, user stories, and data flows to enable automated improvements.

In this role you will support IT project lifecycles, collaborate with PMs, architects, developers, and testers, and help ensure data integration, reporting, and stakeholder alignment across initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and functional requirements.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and process-mapping sessions to gather and validate requirements.
• Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, and process flows.
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Support change management and user adoption activities.
• Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle activities including planning, requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Work closely with project managers, solution architects, developers, and testing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Track project requirements, risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect management.
• Gather and document requirements for system integrations and data migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define data mapping, transformation, validation, and integration requirements.
• Support integration projects involving ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, data warehouses, and third-party applications.
• Ensure data consistency, quality, and governance across integrated systems.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business decision-making.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations.
• Serve as a liaison between business users and technology teams.
• Facilitate communication and alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to stakeholders and leadership.
