Job summary

Altimetrik in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Business Analyst (5-8 years) to work with stakeholders, product and tech teams to translate business needs into functional requirements and drive solutions through implementation.

You will gather and document BRDs/FRDs, write user stories and use cases, support UAT, and ensure clear communication across teams in a hybrid, full-time role.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT/software environment.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar tools.
• Good understanding of process mapping and workflow documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and requirements.
• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
• Translate business requirements into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Conduct requirement workshops, stakeholder meetings, and solution discussions.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Create process flows, workflow diagrams, functional specifications, and wireframes where required.
• Ensure requirements are clearly understood by development and testing teams.
• Support UAT, including test scenario preparation, defect clarification, and business validation.
• Manage requirement changes and ensure proper impact analysis.Track project requirements, dependencies, risks, and issues.
