Job summary

Ripik.ai in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks a junior data analytics professional to transform business data into actionable insights and build scalable dashboards. You will collaborate with teams to drive strategic decisions and leverage Excel, Power BI and Tableau for visualization.

You will apply statistical methods, run A/B tests and support financial modelling to forecast outcomes, with emphasis on numerical accuracy and clear presentation of results.

Qualifications

• Honours degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a quantitative field.
• Strong quantitative reasoning and mathematical foundations.

• Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

About the role

• Analyse business data and extract actionable insights to support strategic decision-making

• Work with quantitative data to identify trends, anomalies and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct statistical analyses to test assumptions and validate business hypotheses
• Support financial modelling efforts including unit economics, cohort analysis and forecasting

What you\'ll work on

• Creating advanced Excel workbooks with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH and nested formulas
• Designing visualisations and interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Looker or Google Data Studio
• Performing A/B testing, hypothesis testing and basic regression analysis
• Developing financial models to understand business unit performance and project future scenarios
• Preparing data using Power Query and conditional formatting to ensure accuracy and clarity

What we\'re looking for

• 0–2 years of experience
• Honours degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or another quantitative field
• Strong foundation in quantitative reasoning and mathematical concepts
• Comfort working with numbers, percentages, ratios and fundamental statistical methods
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, complex nested formulas, Power Query, conditional formatting and chart design
• Hands-on experience building dashboards in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Metabase, Looker or Google Data Studio
• Keen analytical mindset and ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data

Preferred qualifications

• Background in VBA or macros for Excel automation
• Familiarity with modern technology platforms, marketing technology tools and artificial intelligence applications
• Knowledge of financial modelling techniques such as unit economics, cohort economics or forecasting methods
• Understanding of statistical testing approaches including A/B testing, hypothesis testing or regression
• Interest in industrial AI and its business applications
• Willingness to travel when the role requires it
