Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Building Automation/Management System Engineer to analyze customer specifications and ensure solutions meet the requirements. You will design the BAS/BMS for HVDC projects and prepare technical documents.

The role involves coordinating with Civil, MEP, Electrical and Mechanical teams, reviewing vendor drawings, and ensuring compliance with international standards while upholding safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Building Automation/Management System.
• Knowledge of international regulations and standards.
• Knowledge of Building Management System and Remote Monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer specifications to ensure Hitachi Energy BAS/BMS meets requirements.
• Design BAS/BMS system based on HVDC and customer requirements.
• Prepare technical specification documents, conceptual designs and detailed designs.
• Produce, review and coordinate technical information with internal stakeholders, suppliers & customers.
• Review vendor drawings and validate design against regulations and technical specs.
• Perform technical evaluation of price bids for procurement.
• Plan and follow up project activities & site activities.
• Coordinate with Civil, MEP, Electrical and Mechanical departments.
• Identify risks and opportunities; ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.

The Building Automation/Building Management System Engineer shall Analyze customer specification to ensure Hitachi Energy solution meets the customer requirements.

Your Responsibilities:

• Analyse customer specification to ensure Hitachi - Power Grids solution to meets the requirements.
• You will bee responsible for designing the BAS/BMS system based on the specific HVDC and Customer requirements.
• You will be responsible for preparing technical specification documents, conceptual designs, detailed design development.
• You will be responsible for Producing, reviewing and coordinating technical information required with internal stakeholders, suppliers & customer.
• You will review of technical documents & drawings from vendors and sub supplier & Validate design confirmation to applicable regulations and technical specification.
• Perform Technical evaluation of price bids for procurement.
• Perform Planning and follow-up project activities & site activities.
• Technically coordinate with Civil, MEP, Electrical and Mechanical department.
• Coordinate with Project/Tender Team efficiently Identify the risk and opportunities effectively.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your Background:

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in mechanical /electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• You should have 5 to 10 yr of experience in Building Automation/Management system.
• You should have knowledge in knowledge of international regulations and standards.
• You must have knowledge in Building Management System, Remote Monitoring
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
