Qualifications

13+ years of experience in BAS/BMS and building automation.
Experience in pharma/biotech or data centers is preferred.
Knowledge of CGMP/GAMP regulations and IT‑OT cybersecurity.
Hands-on design, integration, commissioning, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement BAS/BMS solutions.
Lead end-to-end system integration projects with IT/OT.
Develop smart factory and Industry 4.0 digitization initiatives.
Configure protocols such as OPC DA/UA, Modbus TCP, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, REST, BACnet.
Prepare and review control system docs: P&IDs/AFDs, Software/HW/SDS, I/O Lists, BOMs.
Ensure CGMP/GAMP compliance (21 CFR Part 210/211).
Troubleshoot, commission, and provide remote support.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Implement IT‑OT cybersecurity practices within automation solutions.

Position Title: BAS/BMS Lead Engineer - 3 Nos.

Location: Gurgaon (as applicable)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced BAS/BMS Engineer with over 13 years of expertise in Building Automation Systems, IoT/IIoT, Smart Factory solutions, and Industry 4.0 technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and leadership capabilities, with proven experience delivering end‑to‑end automation solutions across Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Manufacturing, and Utility sectors.

This role requires hands‑on experience in BAS systems, HVAC (Low Side), and utilities, along with strong project management and troubleshooting skills. Preferred experience with Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, ABB, and Schneider.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Building Automation System (BAS/BMS) solutions
Lead end‑to‑end system integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between IT and OT systems
Develop and support smart factory and digitization initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0
Configure and manage communication protocols such as OPC DA/UA, Modbus TCP, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, MQTT, REST APIs, BACnet
Prepare and review control system documentation, including P&IDs/A&FDs, Software Design Specifications, Hardware Design Specifications, Functional Specifications, I/O Lists and BOMs, Sensor selections & locations, Integration of BAS with PCS
Ensure compliance with CGMP/GAMP standards (21 CFR Part 210/211)
Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, and remote technical support
Lead project execution ensuring delivery within scope, cost, and timeline
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Implement IT‑OT cybersecurity practices within automation solutions
