Job summary

Cars24 is seeking a Credit Underwriter in Gurgaon, India, to rigorously assess loan applications. The role involves reviewing KYC, income statements, and bank statements, conducting personal discussions with borrowers, and recommending sanction decisions.

You will analyze credit bureau history and various company structures, contributing to monthly MIS and inter-department coordination. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of underwriting experience, strong knowledge of CIBIL and FOIR, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Credit Underwriting experience in AL, PL, BL, LAP/HL etc.
• CIBIL checking, FOIR, banking understanding required.
• Calculation of Average Quarterly Balance, TVR/PD with customer; preparation of Credit Notes.

Responsibilities

• Check complete files (KYC, Income & Financial Documents, Bank Statements) and raise queries as per policy.
• Personal discussions with borrowers and recommendations for loan sanction.
• Download and analyze credit bureau history; analyze financial and bank statements.
• Analyze SENP, SEP, PARTNERSHIP and company files (Pvt. Ltd and Public Limited).
• Prepare monthly MIS and coordinate MIS between branches and HO.

Job description

• Check complete files (KYC, Income & Financial Documents, Bank Statements) CIBIL and raise queries if there are some documents missing which are required as per policy for Loan appraisal.
• Personal Discussions (PD) with Borrowers and Recommendation for Loan Sanction.
• Downloading and analyzing Credit Bureau History; analyses financial and bank statements of the prospective.
• Analysis the File of SENP, SEP, PARTNERSHIP and Company Files (Pvt. Ltd and Public Limited).
• Preparation of Monthly MIS.
• Responsible for reprocess of reject cases.
• MIS coordinator between Branch credit and HO Credit.

Who are we looking for?

• Graduate from any recognized university (no preference for stream)
• 2+ years of Credit Underwriting experience in AL, PL, BL, LAP/HL etc.
• Decent understanding of various credit parameters like Cibil checking, FOIR, Banking understanding along with calculation of Average Quarterly balance, TVR/PD with customer and preparing relevant Credit Note.
• Basic knowledge of working of MS Office, Google Sheets etc.
