Job summary

EY is hiring an Advanced Analyst in Bengaluru, India to analyze information and prepare accurate U.S. individual, trust, and partnership tax returns. You will work with Seniors/Managers to manage client relationships and ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role focuses on complex return preparation for High Net Worth individuals and involves guiding Tax Analysts while maintaining collaborative EY relationships across teams.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of working experience with major global corporation (Big 4, Finance shared services etc,)
• Formal education in commerce/finance minimum of bachelor’s degree, preferably Masters.
• Experience with CCH and or SurePrep software helpful
• Excellent communication skills, good analytical, verbal and numerical skills
• Good grasp of baseline tax technical issues and processes relevant to U.S. individual returns

Advanced Analyst

The primary role of an Advanced Analyst is to analyse information to prepare accurate tax returns and help Seniors/Managers manage relationships with the client.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Prepare complex High Net Worth Individuals tax returns
• Consistently provide high quality work with self-review skills
• Take on a more advanced role on less complex assignments
• Demonstrate an ability to supervise, review, develop and delegate to Tax Analysts
• Contribute to client satisfaction by providing timely and effective responses to client needs and concerns
• Maintain collaborative relationships with EY colleagues
• Assist Seniors and Managers on special projects, as requested
• Proactively identify issues and recommend solutions
• Demonstrate professionalism and poise in demeanor, attitude, communication, behavior and interaction with others

People responsibilities:

• Mentor new members of the team
