About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Salesforce Billing Specialist / Lead who possesses deep technical and functional expertise in Salesforce Billing and related SaaS-based financial operations. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end Salesforce Billing implementations, ensuring accurate integration with financial systems and seamless delivery of business-critical billing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce Billing projects — from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-production support.
Configure and customize Salesforce Billing functionality including pricing models, product catalog setup, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, finance, and engineering teams to define and streamline billing and revenue workflows.
Integrate Salesforce Billing with external systems such as Contracts, Payments, Tax, Financials, and Product Usage.
Ensure compliance with Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.
Work in an agile environment, managing deliverables using tools such as Jira.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best practices to the development team.
Partner with finance and operations teams to enhance automation, reporting, and analytics related to billing.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience on the Salesforce platform, with deep expertise in Salesforce Billing.
Proven knowledge of SaaS usage-based billing concepts – pricing, product catalogs, invoicing, payments, and revenue recognition.
Strong understanding of Salesforce customization (objects, workflows, triggers, integrations).
Experience in integration architecture across Contracts, Billing, Financials, and Payments.
Proficiency in Salesforce security, data privacy, and governance standards.
Experience using Business Process Management tools such as Jira.
Exposure to Workday ERP or other financial systems is an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications

Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
