Job summary

Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS) in Delhi is seeking an experienced beauty and fragrance consultant. You will help customers with expert product knowledge, provide attentive service from entry to exit, and promote the full product range to close sales confidently.

The role emphasizes upselling, stock upkeep, and staying current with travel retail trends to boost store performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in beauty or fragrance sales.
• Strong knowledge of skin care, beauty, fragrance, and cosmetics.
• Make-up artists are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Serve each customer with exceptional, prompt and polite service.
• Greet customers and ensure their needs are met from entry to exit.
• Explain product usage and benefits; promote full range and close sales with accurate information.
• Identify customer needs using open-ended questions.
• Aim to achieve target sales and unit performance.
• Monitor personal and counter targets and work towards them.
• Develop the account through demonstrations and active product showcasing.
• Keep counters well-merchandised with up-to-date displays and stock.
• Maintain clean, tidy counters, testers, and merchandise at all times.
• Replenish stock and ensure promotions are faced as per plans.
• Ensure all products are security tagged.
• Provide feedback on stock shortages to Supervisors.
• Offer feedback to company and suppliers based on customer input.
• Suggest new products based on customer trends.
• Stay updated with travel retail literature and product trends.
• Carry out stock counts diligently and avoid stock loss.

Role & responsibilities

• Beauty, Personal care, Skin care, Perfume, Fragrance and Cosmetics knowledge.
• Serve each customer with exceptional service and undivided attention giving prompt, polite and efficient service always
• Ensure that the customer needs are met, that they are greeted with courtesy and that they are cared for from the time they enter the store to the time they leave
• Communicate usage and benefits to all customers, promoting the use of full product range and close the sale effectively by giving the customer accurate and relevant product information
• Listen and use open ended questions and demonstrate your knowledge to help identify the customer needs
• Work hard to ensure achieve average sale and unit targets as agreed
• To be continuously aware of personal and counter targets as agreed
• Actively seek ways to develop the account by maximising use of tools available and outside activity and demonstrations
• Keep products merchandised to the highest standards & maintain well stocks shelves. Counters must have an up to date focused display. Initiate display activities whenever possible
• Ensure the counters, merchandise and testers are kept clean, tidy, and presentable always
• See that stock and promotions are well maintained and replenished and faced according to merchandising and display plans
• Ensure all product is security tagged
• Provide feedback to the Shop Supervisors of stock shortages, demands etc.
• Provide own sales feedback to company and supplier, ensuring it is relevant to the product
• Take an active lead in suggesting new products and ideas based on customer feedback
• Read travel retail literature to be up to date with product trends
• Ensure stock counts are carried out diligently
• Be security conscious of stock loss and report any losses immediately
