Tata Capital is seeking a Sales Officer for microfinance operations in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on achieving disbursement targets while minimizing delinquency, building JLG-based lending relationships, and driving market penetration through field-based initiatives.

Fresh graduates with up to 5 years' experience in microfinance sales are encouraged to apply. The job involves travel to centers, client meetings, and active portfolio management to ensure healthy repayment

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline. Fresh graduates with up to 5 years of sales experience in microfinance are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Achieve disbursement targets with minimum delinquency.
• Identify Joint Liability Groups and disseminate loans to suitable customers in target geographies.
• Lead and manage a sales team across assigned territories for market penetration.
• Assess potential client base and opportunities for expanding operations to new regions.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management; achieve daily/weekly collections targets.
• Follow up on disbursed loans, prioritizing timely repayments.
• Conduct regular field visits, center meetings and loan applicant interactions.
• Maintain portfolio quality by tracking normal dues, delinquencies and fraud risks.
• Build strong client relationships and establish brand identity among customers.
• Ensure weekly/daily center meetings and field visits.
• Fresher to max 5 years exp as a sales officer in microfinance.

• To ensure the achievement of disbursement targets with minimum delinquency
• Identifying Joint liability Groups & disbursed loans, to suit the target customers and geographies.
• Enabling business growth by developing and managing a teams across assigned territories for deeper market penetration and reach.
• Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions, areas & opportunities for geographical expansion of operational areas.
• Disbursement, repayment and delinquency management, achieving daily / weekly collections targets
• Makes a close follow up of the disbursed loans, especially of the ones not paying on time.
• Undertake regular field visits, Centre Meeting and loan applicants
• Maintaining portfolio quality by tracking & controlling Normal dues, Nonstarters, Delinquency, & Frauds.
• Build strong client relationships both internally and externally and build a strong brand identification with potential customers.
• Ensuring weekly / daily meetings & visit to centre
• Fresher to maximum of 5yrs exp + as a sales officer in microfinance business
• Basic understanding about Microfinance business and JLG model working would be preferred.
