Job summary

Muthoot Fincorp Ltd. invites applications for the role of Branch Business Manager – Secured & Unsecured Lending. You will lead and mentor a team of RMs/BSMs, drive a mix of secured gold-backed lending and micro LAP products, and ensure attainment of branch targets.

The incumbent will coordinate with Credit, build partnerships, manage portfolios, and represent the branch in all external and internal stakeholder interactions, while upholding high ethical standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading a team of sales roles incl. RM/BSMs with on-roll staff.
• Experience in Home Loans / Mortgages with team handling.
• Experience with lower/middle income segments in NBFC or affordable housing.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet business targets under pressure.
• Knowledge of collections/recoveries.
• Portfolio quality accountability for the location.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate RO/RM/BSMs to exceed monthly/quarterly budgets.
• Own and resolve early mortality, delinquencies and NPAs from sourcing and portfolio.
• Find micro markets and empanel referral partners for Micro LAP and gold-backed lending.
• Liaise with Credit for faster decisioning of loan proposals.
• Cross-sell insurance to loan customers.
• Be the face of Muthoot Fincorp for the location.
• Suggest improvements to customer experience to Sr. Management.
• Monitor competition and report to zonal/national teams.
• Collaborate with branches for smoother disbursements and safekeep of loans.
• Attract and retain high performers.
• Liaise with authorities to resolve conflicts if any.

Main Tasks & Areas of Responsibility

:

• Lead & Motivate team of RO/RM/BSMs to build to Overachieve Monthly / Quarterly / Half Yearly / Annual Business Budget
• Own & resolve the early mortality, delinquencies and NPAs from new sourcing and existing portfolio.
• To find new micro markets and empanel good quality referral partners to scale up Micro LAP business & Gold backed secured business loan (Suvarna)
• To liaison with Credit, Subject Matter Experts at different levels to clear customers’ loan proposals for faster decisioning
• To Cross Sell Insurance effectively to the loan customers to safeguard their Property, Health & Life.
• To Be the Face of SULB Muthoot Fincorp for that Location for all practical purposes.
• To Constantly look out for opportunities for improve customer experience by giving inputs to the Sr. Management for addressing the unmet needs of the customer.
• To Watch closely the Competition activities and report the same to the Zonal and National teams.
• To Work closely with Muthoot Fincorp branches for smoother disbursement of Gold backed Secured Loans and their safekeep.
• To Attract & Retain High Performers in the Team.
• To effectively liaison with law authorities for resolving conflicts if any.

Skills and Exposure

:

• A result oriented individual with Positive Mental Attitude with Integrity, willing to put hardwork.
• Proven ability to Recruit and Retain high performing RO/RM/BSMs.
• Atleast 5 years experience in leading a team of Sales Exectives, Team Leaders, with atleast 2 years of Onroll team members.
• Having good working knowledge on Lower & Middle Income Customer Segments, having worked in similar role in an Affordable Housing or NBFC, with minimum 2 years of similar exposure.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Ability to Work & Deliver business targets under pressure
• Working knowledge of Collections/ Recoveries.
• Be Accountable for Portfolio Quality of the Location.
