The Borders Macmillan Centre, based at Borders General Hospital, is seeking an Administrator to support the systemic anti-cancer day case unit. The role involves busy administrative duties for the nursing team and managing appointments across multiple sites.

We value compassion, integrity and teamwork, and offer training where needed. This part-time post (30.72hrs/week) is an excellent opportunity in NHS Borders to contribute to patient care.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills, confidentiality, treating people with respect and dignity, and knowledge of electronic systems laid out in the job description are essential.
  • A qualification in administration equivalent to SVQ3 and experience of treatment appointment scheduling will be advantageous; training will be provided.
