Job summary

SRF in India is seeking a trained Boiler Attendant to operate and monitor 15 TPH and 30 TPH boilers on shift, ensuring steady steam supply to meet plant requirements.

Role requires meticulous monitoring of boiler parameters, upkeep of log sheets, and routine inspection of pumps, water treatment systems, and air compressors. ITI (Boiler) certification and a First Class Boiler Attendant credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of boiler operation experience.
• Candidate must have relevant boiler certifications.
• Knowledge of boiler safety and logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor 15 TPH and 30 TPH boilers during shift.
• Ensure continuous steam generation as per plant requirements.
• Monitor boiler parameters: Steam Pressure, Steam Temperature, Feed Water Pressure, Water Level.
• Maintain boiler log sheets and shift records.
• Conduct routine inspection of boiler, feed water pumps, condensate pumps, softener plant, DM/RO water system, and air compressors.
• Identify abnormalities and report them immediately.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor 15 TPH & 30 TPH boilers during shift operation. (Coal & Husk Boiler)

2. Ensure continuous steam generation as per plant requirements.

3. Monitor boiler parameters such as:

• Steam Pressure
• Steam Temperature
• Feed Water Pressure
• Water Level
• Fuel Consumption
• Draft and Combustion Efficiency

4. Maintain boiler log sheets and shift records.

5. Conduct routine inspection of:

• Boiler
• Feed Water Pumps
• Condensate Pumps
• Softener Plant
• DM/RO Water System
• Air Compressors (if applicable)

6. Identify abnormalities and report them immediately.
