Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in Bengaluru is seeking aHiL engineer to design and execute test benches using Vector VT System and VTestStudio. You will create test scripts, configure benches, and perform automated/manual test runs with meticulous defect logging.

Experience with CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, CAPL scripting, and tooling like DOORS, JIRA, GIT is essential. Strong debugging and teamwork are expected as you support HiL setups and validation for automotive electronics.

Qualifications

• Experience in Hardware in Loop (HiL) setups using Vector VT System and VTestStudio.
• Hands-on knowledge of Vector Canoe, VT System, and Vector Tool Chain.
• Strong understanding of CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS ISO-14229.
• CAPL scripting proficiency and experience with DOORS, JIRA, and GIT.
• ISTQB basic level certification preferred.
• Good debugging and electronic lab skills.

Responsibilities

Creation of test scripts in VTestStudio
Handling of Component Test Bench (Vector VT System) - Design, Setup, Maintenance, Upgrade, Trouble Shooting, Test Execution
Test Execution (Manual/Automation), Result Analysis and Defect logging

Qualifications

Experience in Hardware in Loop (HiL) with following skillset:

• Must have good knowledge of Vector Canoe, VT System, Vector Tool Chain
• Must have good domain knowledge of Automotive Systems and architecture (Preferred Domain knowledge in Body Electronics )
• Must have good knowledge of Communication protocols like CAN, LIN. Preferred to have knowledge in Automotive Ethernet
• Must have good knowledge of Diagnostic protocols like UDS ISO-14229
• Must have good knowledge of scripting languages like CAPL
• Must have good knowledge of Management Tools like DOORS, JIRA, GIT
• Must have good knowledge of Test Process and Methodologies. ISTQB basic level certification prefered
• Must have good debugging / troubleshooting and electronic laboratory skills

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and electronic lab skills.

• Experience with Vector VT System, Vtest Studio, for building and configuring HiL benches.
• ECU & Wiring Knowledge Ability to connect ECUs, create wiring harnesses, and manage test benches

• Diagnostic Tools
• Use of oscilloscopes, multimeters, and bus analyzers for signal checks and troubleshooting.
