Job summary

Ascendion in Pune/Gurgaon is seeking a Copilot Studio Agent Developer to design, build, and maintain AI agents that automate enterprise workflows within Microsoft 365. You will create end-to-end agent flows, configure knowledge sources, and extend capabilities via Power Automate.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and deploying agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of Power Automate flows and connectors.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID).
• Experience configuring and tuning knowledge sources for retrieval-grounded conversational agents.
• Working knowledge of prompt design and conversational flow design for enterprise use cases.
• Ability to troubleshoot platform constraints (file size/page limits, indexing delays, connector failures).
• Strong stakeholder communication skills; ability to translate technical capability into business value.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Copilot Studio agents end-to-end, including topics, conversation flows, and prompt/action nodes.
• Configure knowledge sources (SharePoint, OneDrive, uploaded documents) for grounded, retrieval-based Q&A.
• Develop Power Automate flows to extend agent capability beyond native Copilot Studio limits (e.g. file ingestion, data extraction, multi-step orchestration).
• Integrate agents with Microsoft 365 services such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID for authentication and access control
• Build automation pipelines connecting agents to downstream systems (e.g. email ingestion, report generation, structured data output to Excel)
• Design and tune agent logic for domain-specific use cases such as classification, structured Q&A, and document analysis
• Evaluate and improve agent response quality across accuracy, relevance, and completeness
• Troubleshoot agent performance issues, including file/page limits, latency, and knowledge source indexing
• Support demo, UAT, and stakeholder review cycles, translating technical agent capability into business-friendly comparisons and documentation
• Maintain agent governance, versioning, and changing management as agents move from prototype to production

About the Role

Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Microsoft Copilot Studio agents that automate business workflows, including conversational Q&A, document-grounded knowledge retrieval, and process automation integrated with Microsoft 365 services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience building and deploying agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio
• Strong understanding of Power Automate flows and connectors
• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem integration (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID)
• Experience configuring and tuning knowledge sources for retrieval‑grounded conversational agents
• Working knowledge of prompt design and conversational flow design for enterprise use cases
• Ability to troubleshoot platform constraints (file size/page limits, indexing delays, connector failures)
• Strong stakeholder communication skills; ability to translate technical capability into business value

Desired Qualifications (Optional)

• Experience with AI Builder or Azure Document Intelligence for document extraction pipelines
• Familiarity with agent evaluation frameworks (accuracy/relevance/completeness scoring)
• Experience migrating legacy business applications to Copilot Studio-based agents
• Exposure to enterprise domain‑specific use cases requiring structured classification or Q&A
• Knowledge of Azure Functions or custom API integration alongside Copilot Studio
• Experience with agent licensing/tier considerations and environment administration in Microsoft 365 admin center
