Job summary

Novonesis is hiring a Copilot Studio Engineer to design, build, and operate AI copilots and agents that solve real business challenges across functions. You will drive secure, scalable solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Azure AI within an enterprise data landscape.

You will collaborate with global teams in a hybrid, agile setting, translating requirements into conversational AI experiences and establishing reusable patterns, governance, and best practices for responsible AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, AI or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software development, automation, AI solutions, or Power Platform development.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform and Power Automate.
• Experience designing and deploying conversational AI solutions, chatbots, virtual assistants, or AI agents.
• Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, prompt engineering, LLMs, RAG architectures, and enterprise AI solution patterns.
• Experience integrating applications and services through REST APIs, custom connectors, webhooks, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Focus on reusability, modular design, and standardization to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Experience with testing strategies, QA, and release management processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, or similar cloud AI platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of security, identity management, data governance, and responsible AI principles.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and collaborative development practices.

• Promote prompt engineering, conversation design, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, governance and responsible AI principles.
• Support operational excellence by monitoring performance and improving user experience.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks and enablement materials for AI adoption.

In this role you will make an impact…

As a Copilot Studio Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and operating intelligent copilots and AI agents that solve real business challenges across multiple functions. You will help establish best practices, reusable patterns, and governance standards for AI agents while ensuring solutions remain secure, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.

You will work with business teams to understand requirements, translate them into AI-powered experiences, and deliver solutions that leverage enterprise data, automation platforms, and Generative AI technologies.

…in addition, some of your key tasks will include:

• Designing, building, and maintaining AI agents and copilots using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Developing conversational experiences that leverage Generative AI, enterprise knowledge, and business processes.
• Integrating copilots with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Teams, and other business applications through connectors, APIs, and Power Platform capabilities.
• Developing Automation and backend integrations to enable intelligent actions and end-to-end process automation.
• Working with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft Copilot ecosystem components to enhance agent capabilities.
• Establishing best practices for prompt engineering, conversation design, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Ensuring compliance with security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI standards.
• Supporting operational excellence by monitoring agent performance, troubleshooting issues, and continuously improving user experience.
• Contributing to the development of reusable frameworks, governance standards, and enablement materials that accelerate AI adoption across the organization.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, platform engineers, security specialists, and global delivery teams in a hybrid and agile environment. You will collaborate with colleagues across multiple regions to deliver innovative AI solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

We expect you to bring:
