The VSE team partners closely with Sales and customers to capture requirements and articulate how BMC’s unique and differentiated capabilities can best serve customer needs. Join us as a Solution Engineer on our Digital Service Operations Management Presales team! As a Solution Engineer, you will work directly with Sales and Presales organizations to create strategy, timelines, and deliverables to align customer initiatives with BMC's solutions.

Contributions through this role include:

• Partnering with sales teams to interpret complex customer needs and develop innovative solutions delivering business and technical value.
• Communicating technical and business content clearly to diverse audiences.
• Documenting current customer states, assisting in business case creation, and building deliverables for sales support.
• Delivering compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of concept based on customer insights.
• Innovating to solve everyday problems.

Skills and experience required:

• Living and embodying BMC values daily.
• 5+ years in presales or a related technical role.
• Broad awareness of client technical architecture and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of cloud provider technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Expertise in Digital Service Operations Management software (e.g., ITSM).
• Ability to create and deliver engaging demonstrations.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Knowledge of BMC Software products.
