Bluetooth Engineer - IVI Platform & Products

Mission of the Role: As a BT developer, you will create software that meets customer and end‑user needs. You will design, build, and implement BT applications and stack, ensuring overall BT functionality across infotainment systems, clusters, mobile apps, and emulators.

Key Objectives

The key objective of a BT engineer is to deliver functional, reliable BT solutions that enhance the user experience and support the company’s mobility revolution.

Key Performance Indicators

• Sprint Completion Rate – 85% and above planned items to be completed in each sprint
• No critical issues assigned should be pending beyond a month
• Follow all software compliance processes (ASPICE) and ensure thorough testing

Year One Deliverables

• Gain expertise in BT features within the infotainment domain
• Plan sprint activities and provide accurate estimations
• Maintain high code quality: readability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in BT development or Android framework development
• Solid knowledge of BT features and protocols
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java
• Experience with Android AOSP / Linux‑based infotainment and build environments
• Proficiency in capturing and analyzing BT sniffer logs, HCI logs
• Execution of PTS test cases in Launch Studio for BT SIG certification

Reporting Structure
