Lifecell in India is seeking a Lab Instrument Technician to manage day-to-day care of medical instruments, maintain records for instruments, and ensure timely preventive maintenance with OEMs. You will oversee calibration of non-analytical instruments, maintain service records for NABL/CAP audits, and serve as the primary contact for instrument breakdowns and vendor coordination.
Also coordinate AMC/CMC renewals with Purchase, manage spare parts, train staff, and ensure compliance with OEM
Role & responsibilities:
Outline the day-to-day responsibil
1. MaintainingRecords of All Medical Instruments (Analytical & Ancillaries) (Purchased or RR) Lab location wise
2. Ensuring Timely Preventive Maintenance of all medical Equipment in coordination with OEM
3. Ensuring Timely Calibration of Non- Analytical Instruments & maintainingrecords for Calibration certificate etc.
4. MaintainingService Records for all Instruments for NABL, CAP and other accreditationAudits
5. Primary point of contact of Lab Team for any kind of instrument breakdowns
6. Primary Diagnosis & support for all Breakdowns
7. Connecting with OEM for online& On site support for breakdowns
8. Maintaining Track of all AMC/CMC
8. Coordinationwith the Purchase Team for timely renewal of AMC / CMC
9. Coordination with Purchase Team for Commercial requirements(Spares etc.) for breakdown
10.Training Lab Team for proper utilization of instrument
11. Upkeep of the instruments as per OEM protocols
12. Supporting the Purchase Team on technical aspects for new medical Capex procurement
13. Periodic Review of Vendor performance along with Purchase Team
14. Support for discarding of the non-usable assets as per e-waste norms for Complianceities for this role.
