HEARZAP seeks an Audiology Equipment Service Engineer to ensure optimal performance of state-of-the-art audiology devices. The role covers installation, calibration, maintenance, and repairs across Hyderabad and nearby areas, supporting clinics and patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant engineering degree with 2–5 years’ hands-on experience in medical device servicing, strong electronics knowledge, and a willingness to travel locally for on-site service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation or closely related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of medical or audiology equipment.
• Strong understanding of electronics, circuit diagrams and electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and calibrate audiology equipment (audiometers, tympanometers, OAE/ABR systems).
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and service calls.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct software updates and hardware upgrades as required.
• Provide technical training and support to clients on operation and maintenance.

Job Summary

As an Audiology Equipment Service Engineer at HEARZAP, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our state-of-the-art audiology equipment. This role involves comprehensive technical support, installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair, directly contributing to the seamless operation of clinics and the quality of patient care across Hyderabad and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and calibrate a wide range of audiology equipment, including audiometers, tympanometers, OAE/ABR systems, and hearing aid programming devices.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled service calls to ensure optimal equipment functionality and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing efficient and effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Conduct software updates and hardware upgrades as required, maintaining equipment at the latest operational standards.
• Provide technical training and support to clients on equipment operation, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, calibrations, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools, ensuring availability for timely service.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Travel to client sites within Hyderabad and nearby areas as necessary to perform installations, service, and repairs.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation, or a closely related technical field.
• 2-5 years of proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of medical or audiology equipment.
• Strong understanding of electronics, circuit diagrams, and electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel locally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications in medical device servicing or specific audiology equipment brands.
• Familiarity with hospital and clinical environments and their operational protocols.
• Experience with network connectivity and software configuration for medical devices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
