Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• Strong understanding of Agriculture, Forestry, Biodiversity, Ecology, Climate, ESG, or Sustainability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: data cleaning, analysis, pivots, lookups.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills; ability to synthesize information.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

ROLE

• Support qualitative and quantitative research across topics such as agriculture, forestry, biodiversity, ecology, ESG, climate, and environmental sustainability.
• Assist in research and analysis related to financial institutions, insurers, impact investors, and agri- or forest-based commodity value chains.
• Conduct secondary research on sustainability trends, ESG risks, regulations, and industry developments.
• Collect, organize, clean, and validate data to support project analyses and client deliverables.
• Assist in data analysis using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
• Support the creation of dashboards, data visualizations, and summary insights for project teams.
• Prepare research summaries, presentations, and client‑ready decks under the guidance of project teams.
• Contribute to benchmarking exercises, market assessments, and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative findings.
• Collaborate with consulting teams on live client engagements and support proposal development, knowledge management, and other project‑related activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Forestry, Agriculture, Ecology, Climate Studies, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of one or more thematic areas: Agriculture, Forestry, Biodiversity, Ecology, Climate, ESG, Environmental Science, or Sustainability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data cleaning, analysis, pivot tables, lookups, and basic analytical functions.
• Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
