Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) or B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT).
• Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on working experience in a hospital clinical biochemistry laboratory.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good technical proficiency with laboratory analyzers and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Sample Processing: Receive, process, and manage blood and biological fluid samples.
• Testing: Perform routine and emergency biochemistry assays (LFT, RFT, blood glucose, lipids, electrolytes).
• Equipment Operation: Operate, calibrate, and maintain automated and semi-automated biochemistry analyzers.
• Quality Control: Adhere to QC, EQAS, and NABH laboratory standards.
• Data Management: Record/report test results in LIS/HIS.
• Communication: Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and senior staff for critical value reporting.

We are Seeking a skilled and detail -oriented Biochemistry Lab Technician to join our clinical laboratory team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and emergency biochemical analyses, operating advanced diagnostic analyzers, and ensuring high standards of quality control and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Sample Processing: Receive, process, and manage blood and biological fluid samples efficiently while adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Testing: Perform routine and emergency biochemistry assays, including Liver Function Tests (LFT), Renal Function Tests (RFT), blood glucose, lipid profiles, and electrolyte analyses.
• Equipment Operation: Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on fully automated and semi-automated biochemistry analyzers.
• Quality Control: Maintain strict adherence to internal Quality Control (QC), External Quality Assurance Schemes (EQAS), and NABH laboratory standards.
• Data Management: Accurately record, verify, and report test results using the hospitals Laboratory Information System (LIS) / Hospital Information System (HIS).
• Communication: Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and senior staff for critical value reporting and urgent sample clarifications.
