Job summary

Jensen Hughes in Mumbai invites a BIM / REVIT Engineer to lead a team of BIM modelers focusing on Fire & Life Safety, Fire Engineering Systems and Security Revit Models and AutoCAD drawings.

The role is based in Mumbai with hybrid options and will support projects across the globe, liaising with Engineers and Team Leaders.

Candidates should have strong English communication, 5+ years in industry, and experience with Revit, AutoCAD and Navisworks, plus BIM experience for Fire & Life Safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industry experience.
• Demonstrable experience with Revit and AutoCAD & Navisworks.
• Experience designing BIM/Revit models for Fire & Life Safety, Fire Systems Engineering and/or Security CAD/BIM production.
• Excellent communications skills in English.
• Experience in mechanical modelling (HVAC/Drainage/Fire Protection/Plumbing).

Responsibilities

• Fulfil BIM/REVIT modelling requirements for large Fire & Life Safety projects liaising with Engineers and Team Leaders.
• Ensure that technical quality and QA/QC processes are adhered to.
• Keep abreast of latest BIM, Revit and AutoCAD developments.
• Manage stakeholder presentations.

Job Overview

At Jensen Hughes, we have an exciting opportunity for a BIM / REVIT Engineer to join our expanding team in India.

In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of BIM modelers focusing on production of Fire & Life Safety, Fire Engineering Systems and Security Revit Models and AutoCAD drawings catering to multiple project requirements. The workload would be diversified across several different sectors, from transportation (aviation and rail) to buildings and Infrastructure.

This role, while based in Mumbai, offers hybrid options and will support projects across the globe.

• Fulfil the BIM/REVIT modelling requirements for large and complex Fire and Life Safety projects liaising with Engineers and Team Leaders
• Ensure that the technical Quality and QA/QC processes are strictly adhered to
• Keep abreast of latest developments in BIM, Revit and AutoCAD
• Manage the stake holder presentations

• Minimum 5 years industry experience
• Demonstrable experience with Revit and AutoCAD & 3 years of experience with BIM along with Navisworks
• Specifically have experience related to designing BIM / REVIT models related to of Fire and Life Safety, Fire Systems Engineering (e.g.Fire sprinklers , pumps et.) and/or Security CAD/Revit/BIM production
• Excellent Communications skills in English
• Should have experience in mechanical modelling (HVAC / Drainage / Fire Protection/Plumbing)
