Responsibilities

• Coordinate with HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV, Architecture and Structure.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Adhere to BIM standards, naming conventions and QA/QC procedures.

JKR Consulting & Services is looking for an experienced Fire-Fighting BIM Modeler to join our BIM team in Bangalore. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate and coordinated fire-fighting BIM models for large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Fire-Fighting BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
• Model fire-fighting systems including Fire Sprinkler, Hydrant, Hose Reel, Fire Pump Room, Wet Riser, Dry Riser and related systems.
• Prepare models as per project requirements and applicable LOD standards.
• Coordinate fire-fighting services with HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV, Architecture and Structure.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Autodesk Navisworks.
• Review design drawings, specifications and project requirements before modelling.
• Prepare BIM models, layouts, sections, schedules and required documentation.
• Identify modelling and coordination issues and support the BIM Coordinator/Manager in resolving them.
• Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modelling guidelines and QA/QC procedures.
• Support model updates based on design changes, RFIs and coordination comments.
• Maintain model accuracy and ensure timely submission of project deliverables.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Autodesk Revit – Fire-Fighting.
• Good understanding of fire-fighting system design and installation practices.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks and clash detection.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• Understanding of BIM workflows, LOD 300/350/400 and model coordination.
• Ability to read and understand MEPF drawings.
• Good knowledge of fire-fighting components, piping, equipment and system layouts.
• Knowledge of BIM standards such as ISO 19650 will be an advantage.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Fire & Safety, Civil or a related engineering discipline.

Preferred Candidate

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Fire-Fighting BIM Modelling.
• Experience working on commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres, airports, high-rise buildings or other large-scale projects will be preferred.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary BIM team.
