Job summary

Assystem GmbH in Bengaluru is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and maintain BIM models for plumbing and firefighting systems across all project phases. You will create detailed drawings and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires coordination with architects and MEP teams, rigorous QA reviews, and ongoing BIM data governance. You will also train project team members and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Building Information Models (BIM) for plumbing and firefighting systems throughout all project phases
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with MEP teams to resolve conflicts between building systems
• Create detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for plumbing and firefighting installations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure BIM model accuracy and compliance with project requirements
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of BIM models to verify adherence to industry standards and project specifications
• Manage BIM data, libraries, and standards to maintain consistency across all project deliverables
• Provide technical support and training to project team members on BIM processes and software utilization
• Ensure all plumbing and firefighting system models comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Coordinate model updates and revisions based on design changes and client feedback
• Prepare BIM reports and presentations for project stakeholders and management reviews
