Job summary

Role Description

The BIM Modeler role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The BIM Modeler will create, update, and maintain detailed Building Information Models for commercial, healthcare, and retail projects using BIM software and standardized workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting architectural and construction drawings, coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models, and ensuring data consistency and accuracy across disciplines. The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to resolve design clashes, support design revisions, and prepare model-based documentation. The BIM Modeler will also assist in implementing BIM standards, maintaining model libraries, and supporting quality checks for project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and processes, with experience in creating and managing coordinated 3D models.
• Knowledge of Architecture and construction practices, including the ability to interpret and translate design intent into accurate digital models.
• Hands-on experience as a Modeler, including model development, detailing, and preparation of BIM-based project deliverables.
• Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in BIM environments, including coordination and clash detection.
• Ability to read, understand, and produce Construction Drawings, layouts, and schedules derived from BIM models.
• Familiarity with open data standards such as IFC and common BIM authoring tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar platforms).
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional project teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage time and priorities in a project-driven environment.
