Job summary

JLL is seeking an experienced BIM Manager to support a Data Centre project in Ahmedabad. The role requires strong civil and MEP coordination, expert BIM execution, and governance across multi-disciplinary teams.

You will lead model creation, clash detection, 4D/5D aspects, and ensure data exchange with consultants and contractors. Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years in BIM management, proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and familiarity with data centre

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive BIM management experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing BIM across civil and MEP on large-scale projects.
• Data centre project experience is highly desirable.

Position Overview

JLL Project and Development Services seeks an experienced BIM Manager to support Data Centre Project. This role requires a seasoned professional with comprehensive expertise in both civil and MEP coordination, specifically within large-scale data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

BIM Strategy and Implementation

• Develop and implement BIM execution plans aligned with project requirements and client expectations for the Data Centre Project
• Establish BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the project team
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary BIM models ensuring integration across civil, structural, architectural, and MEP systems
• Lead clash detection and resolution processes, facilitating coordination meetings with design consultants and contractors

Technical Leadership

• Oversee the creation, management, and quality control of BIM models across all project phases
• Ensure accurate 3D modeling, 4D sequencing, and 5D cost estimation as required
• Review and validate design deliverables for constructability, compliance, and data centre operational requirements
• Manage federated models and ensure seamless information exchange between project stakeholders

MEP and Civil Coordination

• Lead MEP services coordination with particular focus on data centre-specific systems including cooling infrastructure, power distribution, fire protection, and security systems
• Coordinate civil works including structural elements, foundations, site development, and infrastructure integration
• Ensure optimal space utilization and services routing critical to data centre performance and efficiency

Project Collaboration

• Work closely with JLL project managers, design consultants, contractors, and client representatives
• Facilitate BIM coordination workshops and design review sessions
• Provide technical guidance to project teams on BIM-related matters
• Generate construction documentation, shop drawings coordination, and as-built model updates

Quality and Compliance

• Maintain BIM model accuracy and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with international standards, local regulations, and data centre industry best practices
• Implement quality assurance processes for BIM deliverables
• Support commissioning and handover processes with accurate as-built documentation

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years of progressive BIM management experience
• Demonstrated experience managing BIM across both civil and MEP disciplines on large-scale projects
• Previous experience on data centre projects is highly desirable and will be given strong preference
• Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects using BIM methodologies

Technical Skills

• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP)
• Strong command of Navisworks for clash detection and 4D simulation
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant BIM software platforms
• Experience with BIM 360, ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), or similar collaboration platforms
• Knowledge of data centre design standards (Uptime Institute Tier classifications, TIA-942, EN 50600)
• Understanding of data centre MEP systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, fire suppression, and monitoring systems

Education and Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
• BIM-related certifications (Autodesk Certified Professional, BuildingSMART, or equivalent) preferred
• Professional engineering credentials advantageous
