Job summary

Anlage Infotech in Pune seeks a senior BIM leader to manage the BIM/CAD function for water and environment projects. You will set strategic direction, govern BIM implementation across projects, and ensure alignment with client standards and international mandates.

Responsibilities include delivering BIM-enabled design for planning, design, and construction, developing BEP, mentoring the team, coordinating with PMs and subconsultants, and driving innovation while upholding safety and quality

Qualifications

• Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 15+ years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and AVEVA E3D in water/wastewater.
• Proven BIM leadership experience in large multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with international clients and regulatory compliance.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and manage the BIM/CAD function within the Water and Environment discipline.
• Provide strategic direction and governance for BIM implementation across projects, ensuring alignment with client standards, international BIM mandates, and organizational objectives.
• Deliver BIM-enabled design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects across planning, design, and construction stages.
• Oversee the development of project deliverables, including drawings, models, and technical reports, ensuring compliance with scope, budget, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Act as the BIM subject matter expert, ensuring consistent application of BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEP), CAD/BIM standards, and data management protocols.
• Lead and mentor BIM Managers, Coordinators, Designers, and Technicians; train and onboard new team members.
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Design Engineers, and subconsultants to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review and approve BIM/CAD outputs, resolving technical issues and improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and adoption of new BIM technologies, tools, and processes.
• Support project bids, proposals, and capability statements related to BIM and digital engineering.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure delivery is compliant with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Interface directly with clients to represent BIM capabilities and deliver client-focused solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma or BTech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 15+ years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and AVEVA E3D, with extensive involvement in water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in a BIM leadership or BIM management role within large, multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong background in detailing and modeling of water and wastewater assets, including pipelines, pump stations, treatment plants, utilities, and roadway interfaces.
• Experience working with international clients and complying with varied jurisdictional and regulatory requirements.
