Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of BIM Engineers and Coordinators to deliver milestones.
• Develop, implement and manage the BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
• Establish BIM standards across ACC/BIM 360 and BEP workflows.
• Lead design coordination and clash detection using Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct BIM audits to ensure LOd and quality compliance.
• Organize BIM coordination meetings and track clash resolutions.
• Review deliverables, RFIs, changes, and as-built models for accuracy.
• Generate BIM reports, quantity take-offs, and 4D/5D simulations.

About the Role:

Turner Construction Company is looking for an experienced Team Lead BIM to lead BIM implementation, digital project delivery, and multidisciplinary coordination for international construction projects. This role is responsible for establishing BIM standards, ensuring model quality, driving coordination between stakeholders, and leading a team of BIM professionals to deliver projects in line with client and Turner standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 5-10 BIM Engineers and Coordinators, overseeing resource allocation, technical support, quality control, and timely delivery of project milestones while fostering collaboration and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and manage the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and project-specific BIM workflows.
• Establish BIM standards, best practices, and manage the Common Data Environment (ACC/BIM 360).
• Lead multidisciplinary design coordination and perform clash detection using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct BIM model audits to ensure compliance with LOD requirements, project standards, and quality expectations.
• Organize and lead BIM coordination meetings, track clash resolutions, and ensure delivery of coordinated, clash-free models.
• Review BIM deliverables, shop drawings, RFIs, discrepancy reports, design changes, and as-built models for accuracy and completeness.
• Generate BIM reports, quantity take-offs, schedules, and support 4D/5D BIM simulations for project planning and tracking.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of BIM milestones.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to BIM Engineers while monitoring project quality, productivity, and schedules.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in BIM/VDC with proven experience leading multidisciplinary BIM teams.
• Experience on US, UK, or Middle East projects is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation, design coordination, and BIM execution throughout the project lifecycle.
