Job summary

Adani Group in Gujarat seeks a BIM Lead to head BIM Design & Modelling for precast projects, delivering accurate models from concept to erection. The role requires expertise in Tekla Structures, Revit, BIM coordination, and precast modelling with the ability to lead a team of BIM Engineers and Modelers.

You will supervise 3D BIM model development, perform clash detection, set workflows, and coordinate with Structural, Architectural, MEP, Production and Site teams to ensure timely project

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• 10+ years in BIM, design engineering and modelling with 5+ years in precast.
• Mandatory proficiency in Autodesk Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of 3D BIM models for large-scale precast projects.
• Review and validate architectural, structural and precast BIM models for compliance.
• Develop detailed precast element models, reinforcement detailing, embeds and connections.
• Ensure model accuracy, constructability and fabrication readiness.
• Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, MEP, Production and Site teams.
• Conduct model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks.
• Establish BIM workflows, modelling standards and best practices.
• Lead and mentor BIM Engineers, Coordinators and Modelers.

Role Purpose

The BIM Lead will be responsible for leading the BIM Design & Modelling function for precast projects, ensuring accurate development, coordination, and delivery of BIM models from concept design through detailed engineering, production, and erection stages. The role requires strong expertise in Tekla Structures, Revit, BIM Coordination, and Precast Modelling with the ability to manage a team of BIM Engineers and Modelers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of 3D BIM models for large-scale precast residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.
• Review and validate architectural, structural, and precast BIM models for compliance with project requirements.
• Develop detailed precast element models, reinforcement detailing, cast-in items, embeds, inserts, and connection details.
• Ensure model accuracy, constructability, and fabrication readiness.

Design Coordination

• Coordinate with Structural, Architectural, MEP, Production, and Site teams.
• Conduct model reviews and clash detection using Navisworks and BIM coordination tools.
• Resolve design conflicts and improve model efficiency.
• Establish BIM workflows, modelling standards, and best practices.
• Support design optimization for production and erection requirements.
• Coordinate with factory and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Lead and mentor BIM Engineers, Coordinators, and Modelers.
• Monitor model quality and project deliverables.
• Drive adoption of BIM standards and digital engineering practices.
• Manage project timelines and BIM resource planning.

Mandatory Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in BIM, Design Engineering, and Modelling.
