Job summary

Join COWI India's bridge team in Gurgaon as a BIM Engineer specializing in TEKLA. You will produce 3D BIM models for concrete and steel bridges, using Rhino/Grasshopper for parametric modelling and generating drawings from your models.

You should hold a diploma or bachelor’s in civil engineering with 3–6 years of experience, familiar with TEKLA, MicroStation or Revit, and comfortable collaborating with international teams. Excellent English is desired.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s in civil engineering with 3–6 years of work experience.
• 3D modelling of bridges in TEKLA (concrete/steel) and detailing best practices.
• Knowledge of detailing standards; familiarity with MicroStation or Revit is a plus.
• Experience with parametric scripting and automation is advantageous.
• Good written and spoken English; ability to collaborate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D BIM models in TEKLA for concrete and steel bridges.
• Generate drawings from BIM models and ensure quality through evaluation.

Throughout COWI’s history, bridges have been one of our primary services. Today we count many of the world’s highest and longest bridges amongst our most visible accomplishments. Our bridge engineering services cover the entire lifecycle of a bridge, from planning and design to operation and refurbishment or decommissioning.

COWI India bridge team is based at Gurgaon. We are rapidly growing and that is why we are looking for BIM Engineers to join our team. We are more than 50 in COWI India bridge team working with colleagues from various COWI offices including Denmark, UK, Iceland, Singapore, Norway, Sweden, North America, and South Korea. We co-create some of the most prestigious and innovative projects with our customers.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Producing 3D BIM models in TEKLA for Concrete bridges with reinforcements / Steel Bridges.
• Keep parametric modelling as a focus and use tools like Rhino / Grasshopper while modelling.
• Producing drawings from 3D BIM models.
• Maintain focus on quality through critical evaluation and structural understanding.
• Grow further our productive collaborative culture and contribute towards knowledge sharing.

You have a Diploma / bachelor’s in civil engineering with 3-6 years of work experience in:

• 3D modelling of reinforced concrete / steel structures in TEKLA for bridge projects.
• Knowledge of detailing and best practices aspects is expected.
• Experience with preferably MicroStation or Revit will be beneficial and viewed favorably.

• Collaborating with international colleagues on projects.

• Good oral and written English language is desired.
  

Additionally,

• Candidates with a strong aptitude for parametric scripting and automation will have an advantage.
• Experience with collaborative platforms such as Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and BIM Track will be highly valued.
